Default No fishing for me for a while

Heading to work last Thursday morning on my motorcycle 3 deer ran out in front of me. I missed the first 2 but the last one got under the bike. I dont remember anything else until 2 truck drivers woke me up. Long story short, 5 broken ribs, broken nose, and too many cuts and brusies to count. They let me out of the hospital Saturday night and I haven't been able to do much but take up space. So while you guys are out catch a couple for me!

Sorry to hear about the misfortune of finding the third deer with the bike. Praying for a speedy recovery.

Hope you feel better soon. Broken ribs are painful. Don't laugh, cough, or sneeze. Good luck

Speedy recovery to you. I have had the rib injury so I know your discomfort. Sometime it even hurt to smile.

Hate to hear that, praying for a speedy recovery. IF I get out there, I'll try to catch one for you too.

Default No Fishing for You for Awhile ~ Indeed!!

Sounds like there won't be a whole lot of anything for you for the next little while... lest it's resting, healing and being thankful to God that you are still alive and in one piece. Man what a terrible thing... but I am surprised it doesn't happen way more often with motorcycles and deer and other wildlife. Prayin' and hopin' for your speedy recovery brother.

Hiccups need to be added to "don't laugh, cough, or sneeze", I remember when I broke some ribs, the first weeks were tough. I'm sure that there will be a big slab waiting for you when you get back on the water. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
