    Default Lake Hickory 6/8

Got on the water around 7:30 am water temp was 79 deg and muddy in gunpowder creek. Started out shooting some pontoons where Hillbilly and his wife were fishing, neither one of us was catching any, so we moved to different areas of the lake. I went out to search for cleaner and deeper water and found the crappie there on one of my go to spots. Fished around a dock and pontoon boat with 17ft water with green/black jig and pulled about 12 keepers from that spot. When they slowed moved to another go to spot and caught a few there, water was not as deep. Made a run down the lake to another go to deep dock and made my limit there and started culling the smaller ones out. By 12:30pm the wake makers were out full force and was hard to stay in place to fish that hole. Left em biting and called it a day with 20 keepers with an average 10" fish. It was a good morning to be fishin
Difference between day and night: Day= one rod, one jig/Night= Many rods & a bucket full of minners

You did good this morning spot,We had just gotten setup to fish the brush when the attention seekers started circling around in the cove,,I don't understand it with 20 miles of main channel to ride and ski those battleship warriors like to come into a cove like that and ski,lI guess they like to be seen,,Thats to be expected on weekends. We did get 4 keepers from the brush before I got disgusted and loaded up and left. I usually don't fish on weekends but I thought with all the trash and muddy water it might be a bit slow this morning,,I realize they have as much right to be there as I do but they could show a little consideration ,,But I guess thats not being taught anymore
