    Default Lake Rhodhiss/Hickory 4-12/13/14

It was a good weekend to fish both lakes, caught good fish and good numbers for me on both. Water temps were from 62-70 depending on time of day. I caught fish in some shallow water around brush, but most come from deeper water 13-20fow in brush. Some were still full of eggs, others not so full and was catching some males also. Most were caught on jigs, and some were caught with minnows in deeper water tight line style. Lighter color jigs seemed to work the best, blues, and greens. Well got to go clean the fish I caught this morning and start making some of my friend happy with some fresh crappie fillets!!! Ain't nothing like giving some fish away to those who enjoy a good mess of crappie, almost as fun as catching them!! Tight lines and hard thumps on your line to all!!!
Difference between day and night: Day= one rod, one jig/Night= Many rods & a bucket full of minners
