I like it. I think I may need to remeasure the saltines to make sure it's a cup. I used 3/4 sleeve of crackers. I have a request from a friend for Tuesday night but like Pete posted the fillets are almost gone. Think I may have one or 2 lbs left. We may need them Norman .comers help us to catch some fish soon. All them slabs they have been catching.

I cant wait for a chance to get out after some slabs so that I can try this recipe. My mom always made zuchini cakes that are similar and taste awesome, I'd like to figure out a way to combine the two, to satisfy the carnivore in me.

Ok, I grew up and learned how to cook watching Justain Wilson on PBS, so I started with Garlic, oinon, celery, and bell peper,
Then egg, crackers and some Louisiana fish fry with leomon. I couldn't go any farther without some blackend fish seasoning, lee and perrons, old Bay, and some plain old texas pete. I also had to add some other fish, spotted bass, crappie and some white perch. All that makes a fine ration. Got only 4 left out of 18.
    I don't fish because I want to, I fish because I HAVE to !

    Moma tried real hard.

I made them last week as well. I had about a pound and a half of crappie in the bag that I thawed out so I had to adjust the rest of the ingredients a little. I used bread crumbs instead of crackers, used two eggs, dijon mustard and then baked them. Turned out wonderful! Thanks again.
