High Rock Lake is south of Lexington N.C. on Highway 8. You go to a small town called Southmont. At the south end of town on the right you will see the wildlife sign for abotts creek access. This is Davidson County, there are also other access in rowan county Off I-85 south nere Salisbury. Get a map of N.C and a High Rock lake map and your set. Where do you live, there's not really a high rock in the lake but it's Dam is set between a pass in High Rock mt. There have ben 3 Bassmasters Classics fished there. It is a very fertile lake. Lots of big fish! Try it you'll like it.
