    With the Lake Norman Crappie social coming up this weekend, I figured I would go check out the lake and make sure all my equipment was up to par. Got to the lake at about 8am. After unloading the boat I was stepping onto the dock and I missjudged my distance and fell into the lake. What a way to start the morning. Atleast the water temperature was 75 degrees and not 60 or less. Water level is down a little. Not much boat traffic out there today, but thats normal for thursday am. Caught most fish in about 22fow over brush, on minnows. Caught numerous 12.5 inchers. Also caught 2 nice blues on my crappie poles. That was fun. Broke one of my poles on a snag. Released all fish for another day. Off the water at noon.

    I haven't done that yet but I figure its coming, nice report. Wish I could come but I have a member member golf tournament this weekend, I am however going to Highrock tomorrow. Gonna put in at Tamarac so I will know where to go the morning of the hr social.
