    Default Old gas


    Anyone know how or where I can get rid of a couple of gallons of old gas?

    Auto parts store I think? I know big garages and auto dealerships have tanks they put it in.

    depending on how "old" it is, you could pour it into your truck/car gas tank and it will mix, should not hurt it but depends on how old is old.

    Pour it in to truck with a 1/2 tank or so. Wont make a bit of difference. Been there done that several times.

    The gas is about 2 years old and only 2-3 gallons it had been treated with Stabil just wanted to start with a fresh tank.

    I agree. I know that some people cringe at the thought of pouring gas on the ground to kill fire ants. I cringe at using a known poison that don't kill the fire ants and we don't know what problems it will create in the enviroment.
