    Default All nighter on James


    Put in at 11:30 last night & decided to try some new spots. First point I set up in 27' of water, bite was slow, caught 14 dinks. Moved to another point at 2am, same story. Caught one or two every 10 minutes, all small. Action finally picked up a little @ 4:30. Actually had a triple at 4:45. Had 4 crappie rods with minnows in the water all night, plus 2 big rods with crawlers on them in case a big cat swam by. No cats, ended up with 37 crappie & only 2 keepers ! Water temp was 83 degrees & fish bit from 8' to 20'. Pulled anchors at 5:45 & headed to work. Gonna be a long day !

    Hope ya got plenty of coffee! Most people I've heard from fishing James are only catching dinks at night. Cool weather is around the corner!

    Yep gonna be a long day. About like when I fish in the morning then go till work till 3am
