Nice job. I have not been on James since the first week of June. Have you heard of many walleyes being caught?
Finally got back on the water Sunday night. Set up in 32' of water & put lights out at 9pm on a point above big island on McDowell side. Water was 87 degrees, fished till 1:15 when lightening & wind got scary.
Caught 34 crappie, all on minnows. Brought home 10 for a friend, released rest. Best fish was 13.5 inches. Skeeterdude missed this trip, he's on a 10 day mission trip with our church to mexico. If ya'll have a spare minute, say a prayer for him.

RUST NEVER SLEEPS
Dan - I have not heard anyone mention walleye at all. Seems like i'd catch a few under the lights every now & then, but, I've never caught one at night.
Good report.....looking for more reports

I tried trolling a few nights on Linville where I normally catch a few but have had no luck. I know a few people were catchin some early this spring on Catawaba end, but I cant leave the crappies alone long enough to try for em!
