Blewetts falls

The last week and a half has been pretty good at Blewetts. Large crappie taken with two limits in 3 trips. One oinker was 2.5 lbs. Today was the third trip and they seem to have moved. Not sure where they went. Caught a few shallow and a few in 15 FOW. The bite was early and then by 8:30, nothing.

Note: Of the 48 fish I caught in 3 trips, approximately 70 to 80 percent had eggs except for today. Of the eight I caught today only 1 had eggs. Water temp ranged from 69 to 73 degrees.

With the full moon this past weekend.You think the spawned and moved? Good job on hammering them.

I'm also still catching them with eggs at Blewett. I believe the full moon this past weekend was the last big surge of the spawn. I also limited out Saturday and Sunday with all over 10". Biggest was 16". You had to weed through them...but the bite was hot.

Still learning Simpleman. BTW, I got some of that expensive tackle that I saw on your boat. It certainly helps. If I buy a little each year I might have as much as you in about 10 years!
