    Cool Share a fishing Hole!!

Seems like most folks are tight lipped about sharing a Honey Hole, and I can certainly understand why! However any public place shouldn't be private!! so lets give it up guys..... would be nice to put a nice batch of crappies in the freezer for a fish fry...Help anyone!! Heck! i'd even pay for a guided trip..

None of my honey holes have produced any crappie lately, so I can't help. I'm in the same boat--hoping to find some fish for the freezer, but it may be the Fall now.

Don’t take this the wrong way but all the “honey holes” I have on any given lake I found by looking for them not by having someone showing them to me. Part of the fun of fishing is the discovery of new places to fish. I will give you a hint, watch other fishermen in boats and on the banks see if they are catching fish and watch your fish finder as you move around the lake. I have never had one” honey hole” produce every time that is why you need to always keep looking for new ones. Catching one or two fish from each place and at the end of the day the cooler will full. Good luck pam3417

I am a guide but I would not want to take you to High Rock with all of these small ones biting. I am catching fish at Badin though. Get in touch if you are truly interested in hiring a guide.

go to a lake, pick a creek and fish. Some of us here have spent hours on the water and lots of gas just to tell someone "fish right here".

myself and several others im sure would point you in the right direction.

If you want to make it easy to find a place to fish, invest in a depth finder with side imaging technology. They are expensive, but in a couple hours of searching with that thing, you will find more stuff to fish than you can fish in a week. All of the lakes I have used SI on were loaded with structure and cover that I never knew were there. You don't need a SI, you don't even need a depth finder. You can just tie on some jigs on a couple of rods, throw them out the back of the boat, and troll. Those jigs will find the brush and stumps for you. When one gets hung, just take the boat to the jig and you'll be straight on top of the cover. After some time, you'll learn which of these places are productive, and develop a 'milk run' where you just go from place to place and catch a few fish off of each one. The point is, like some of the other guys have said, you just got to fish before you can catch.
