    Default Badin Blast

Got a late start due to boat troubles tough day with conditions cloudy to sunny and then bad storm in the end but finished with 38 keepers and one nice shell crack and huge white bass!! Sorry no pics but anyhow water temp anywhere from 68 to 72 fish grass beds all day with jigs. Was wandering how many more days lake Saturday will last due to the warm water temps and everyone else beating the banks. Have heard from several people that they think the spawn is about over wandering yals opinion?

Good job on the Badin crappies. Should be more spawning to come, they won't all spawn at the same time
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Great job RMabrey. I've never had much luck crappie fishing Badin, but then I usually give up and troll for stripers. I'm probably going Wednesday either there or Tillery. Which end of the lake are you fishing? I usually do decent around Garr Creek this time of year but that place is fished like crazy.

really don't think it matters but yeah I like Garr Creek myself maybe you can shine a light my way when those stripers supposedly run up the river I would like to catch a couple of them got lucky this winter and caught 2 nice ones on crappie jigs. Maybe the Arig might help me out since I don't troll shouldn't be much longer on them will it?

The last two years have been so bad on Badin except for Christmas-New Year's this year. There were some nice fish caught then. I've caught them this time of year up river on live bait and trolling from Old Whitney to the trestle and then on the other side of the trestle as well.
