63-39 for water temps, wow. I'm still seeing low 50-55 around here. I'm sure the temps are coming up but the next ten days of weather forecast sure doesn't look good.
Or should I say a better day. Same pattern as yesterday, curlytails and baby shad around docks and brush. Wind wasn't as bad as yesterday with a sprinkle of rain for just a minute early this morning and it was hot out there this afternoon. Saw water temps between 63 and 69 today.
Biggest of the day came on the first stop, what a way to start the day!
Fished that place twice and that was the only keeper there. Thought it was going to be a slow day for a while after that but a couple of moves and a little later in the day found a few good spots. Caught a ton of short fish but we kept 30 over 10 inches for the freezer for slow times like I have been having lately. Put them on ice before we left the lake so I didn't get accurate weights or measurements, but there were several "good'uns" in the cooler.

Thanks for the report!! Went down on Fri, fished like ya said and finally like you finally got on them at a certain dock, and limited out and started culling. It sure was FUNNNNN!!!!
Difference between day and night: Day= one rod, one jig/Night= Many rods & a bucket full of minners
That's great! Someday I've gotta get to those docks!
Way to go hawkman. Man, your reports are making want to go AWOL from work.
Sounds like a great time. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the report and sharing the pic. the water temp on LKN Wed was 62 - 65 in the creek I was in they moving and feeding good ,had 4 swallow the hook deep. Thanks again and Tight Lines to you.
We went through a gross of minnows Thursday and another gross (dozen dozen; 144) on Friday and jig fished the last two hours Friday (pink with chartruce tripletail and John deere green Charlie brewer sliders) The catching was unreal, didn' t catch a keeper on Thursday and finally kept 10-12 Friday to eat. The few females we did catch were spawned out about 90 percent of the catch were 6-7 inch males. Got into some 72 degree in the back of Swearing Creek all caught on blowdowns and piers with hardwood brush depth: the dirt to 3 ft. Had a ball catching the High Rock babies!!!
Great report, nice fish.
I PRACTICE CATCH & FRY---WHEN I CAN FISH AND CATCH:D
Very nice. Thanks for the report.
Glad you had a good day.
