    Question Full Moon Crappie????


    I could not get out last night beacuse I was watching my daughter. I have seen reports that the crappie bite is both good and bad during the full moon. So who went out last night and how did you do?

    Hey Redboat,
    Ms. Catfish here. Maybe it was the full moon or maybe it was the spawn, but either way I was out all day Thursday and up until round 8 p.m. at Farrington at Jordan Lake and the crappie bit all day and half the night for me on minnows dead and alive. I think I caught 40 all told, with half eleven inches and bigger. It was a grand time for this ole bank fisherwoman. Ms. Catfish

    Hey Redboat, to clarify -- I didn't keep all 40, of course. About half were ten inches and bigger. I kept 15 and threw back the rest. Ms. Catfish.

    Went on Lake Tillery, caught everything but a crappie. Fished from 330-9pm. From what I hear it was like that all over the lake, at least on the south end.
