Went out on Hickory last night with my grandpaw. First night fishing trip he has went on since the 70's.
Started out a little rough with wind and our anchor ropes weren't long enough so we had to improvise.
All in all a good night. Caught around 20 fish a couple catfish and the rest were crappie. Started in about 20fow and fishing 10-12'. As the night moved on the bite slowed. Finally started catching again by dropping all the way to the bottom and slowly winding straight back up. Here is a pic of the biggest. Was around 15" and weighed nearly 2lbs.
