Way to go guys and good pictures. My Father and I were in one of the boats that you passed on the west side near the opening. It seems like 5'-7' was the sweet spot for us, much like you guys were finding it at 7'.
Fished from about 2:30-7:00
Bush Creek water temp 58-60
5'-8' deep water
My buddy Brink and I got out there late this afternoon a little tired from working the night before. Once we got going, it was tough to stay tired because we were pretty busy. We put in at Farrington and started up the creek. There were a bunch of boats fishing the west side of the creek fairly close to the mouth. I didn't want to be manuvering through all of them so we decided to head to the back of the creek and work out until we got on the fish. We caught two in the back but continued moving out in about 7 feet of water. We tried out longlining for the second time ever. We started catching them like crazy on just about any dark color. We found that we were having better luck in the back half of the creek than we were when we got closer to all of the other boats near the front.
We trolled back and fourth along about a 200 yard stretch that we were catching them on and the bite just got better as the afternoon wore on. The basket started getting full and we hadn't been counting so we called it quits before sundown. I think we caught over 50 and ended up keeping 33 10"+ crappie and two white bass. This was one of the better days that I've had since I started crappie fishing because the keeper to dink ratio was so good. Thanks for everyone elses reports and articles.

Very nice report Chap. Sounds like you had a great time out there and left with a good mess of keepers to show for it.
Thanks for the report and the good pictures.

Nice job! And I gotta say, my wife will let me do pretty much whatever I want when it comes to fishing.........but bringing or cleaning fish in the house is not allowed, lol. It would be nice on those cold winter days, I'm jealous, lol.

Nice job.Nice pics
I was gonna say the same as Crappie Solder--kitchen appears to have a woman's touch from decorations hanging on walls, etc but no bunch of fish like that is every allowed by my wife in our kitchen==although it sure would be nice. Way to go guys, nice catch! Unfortunately due to work and family obligations, I didn't get out the past week, andI will be lucky if I make it out next week! Will post a report if I go.
Thanks for all of the replies. Crat was refering to my lady "trying" to help me get what I was sure was a 3 lber into the boat by grabbing the 4# test last week. It didn't work out so well but I feel a bit better now after having a good day at Jordan. She loves to eat crappie so much that I can clean them in the kitchen if it's dark out... as long as I clean up my mess
