Kellog I got two of the Guest two bank chargers myself. They were about $60 or so each at Cabelas on sale at the time. I run one to my cranking battery and the other one to my two trolling motor batteries. They have worked flawlessly so far. They are either 4 or 6 amps I can't remember.

After further scrutiny I have discovered that my on-board charger isn't faulty after all. I found a short in the female side of my trolling motor plug. The short, which was on the negative cable, was pulling the battery down very soon after plugging in the male plug. One of the screws holding the wires in the female plug had became loose which caused it to heat up melting the wires together about an inch from the connection point. Rewired everything on the frontend with new wire and hardware and so far everything is in good shape. The cost of the wire and hardware was only $9.00. That is much better the $150.00 for a new on-board charger.
