Big Crappie?

I know theys a post about a 3lb 10oz fish out here and I hope its true. Fish like that come out of smaller lakes with less pressure.

I've only seen one 4lb plus crappie and it was 17.8" long but it was THICK and full of roe. I mean thick like a salt water fish. Not even shaped like a crappie. That was at Hills landing on the canal at Santee about Spring 1994.

Same with the HUGE shell crackers they catch at the mouth of the canal, big but very thick.
