time for a home made set up. I hope your insurance covers it. I hate nothing more than a thief. May they wake up to a horrible disease.
lock your vehicles at night. Lived here for 11 years and never had a problem. However last night.....I had a pistol, a GPS, and a digital camera stolen from my truck. NO....IT WASN'T LOCKED. Take this as a lesson. Do not take any area safe from thieves. They are out there and they cruised the neighborhood and only hit the vehicles that were not locked.......like mine. Please don't think they are not in your area. Those low lifes are out trying to support their drug habits or something. Just a warning. Take care and protect your belongings.
Capt.C........Life's short. Be a friend. Eat good. Have fun and fish hard!

Stay in touch with the Police Department....Long story short my car was broken into and my sons key to his truck was in my car....which they stole his truck and broke into my hunting truck (during hunting season) and of course I had a shotgun and rifle inside the truck, both were stolen. They found the truck in Charlotte but no guns. This happened in Dec. 08....in May of 2010 my shotgun was returned.....a guy bought it in Plymouth Township P.A. for $100 (not a bad price for a browning gold turkey) got scared and took it to the local police department which ran the serial number and mailed me the gun. And I have tried to get the guys name to mail him his $100 but the police department has a policy about giving that info out.....good luck getting your stuff back but do stay in touch with the P.D.
Sorry to hear that Chuck. My wife is always telling me to lock my truck in the driveway and I never do.....until now.
Not even Summerfield is safe anymore
same here...I never lock my truck...and I keep the same type stuff in mine also...thanks for the reminder.
I know how you feel. Our house was broken into about 2 1/2 years ago. Live in the country with good neighbors and just thought it would never happen out there. Oh well.

Take a kid outdoors!
It must be something going around. About 2 months ago, someone came through our development hitting unlocked vehicles in the driveways. Stole a few things. I just happened to have mine locked. Had the boat hooked up to the truck but I always disconnect all my electronic and they couldn't get my trolling motor off if they tried. Its just plan sad that people will resort to such junk.
Around Winston this year someone has been running through town cutting off outside air conditioning units to get the copper out of them. Sometimes in broad daylight. It wouldn't be good for me to catch someone doing that. There sure are some sorry people in this world.
I had a GPS AND Radar detector stole from my pickup last week myself in the driveway
My vehicle was unlocked
2018 Tracker Super Guide 40hp 4 Stroke
Garmin Striker 7sv
Minn Kota Powerdrive with iPilot
Marine Raider Rod Holders Modified for Versatrack
Sucks! With The Jeep I can't lock it.. SO I have to make sure nothing is in it..
well, most of yall know what happened to me, but this one just blew my mind. about a week later after my motor was stolen, my next door neighbor had SQUASH stolen from his little garden, our best guess is they saw the stuff while they were stealing my motor, and they must be some quiet sob's cause their mean dog is right in their with them.
Brave and Stupid walk a fine line.
oh, and one more thing, my disabled neighbors 2 vehicles both have problems that render them useless, he suspects foul play.
When in doubt, set the hook.
