    just wanderin if any of you guys would have some carp resipes you wouldnt mind sharing with me im gonna start carp fishin at my buddys pond in some turniments and could use some help

    Well..some people eat'em. In the store they go by the fancy name of Talapia. I know lots of people down east that eat Mullet...and even I have tried fresh cob mullet fried. Did'nt taste like chicken..nowhere near as good as Crappie..but, we ate our bait (so to speak) of them.:D

    Are you wanting a recipe for cooking carp ? Or making carp bait?

    leave them muddy POND carps alone.on the other hand a lake fish is good.filet him out like any other fish, roll in cornmeal and fry him up.u wont be dissapointed

    If you are making carp bait the one thing I remember from my days as a kid on carp ponds involved a Sugar Pop on the hook covered in a dough made from millet, molasses, and strawberry jello I think. Can't remember any blend ratios, but those are the main components as I recall. I sure hope that you wanted bait recipes and are not planning on eating carp. If so, I recommend the "fish on a plank" recipe where after much preparation, flavoring, spices, and slow cooking you end up throwing the fish away and eating the plank...!

    thanks guys for the help but i didnt make my self clear i wouldnt eat one of the caint even stand the thought lol i was wantin bait reciepes so that might help yall help me sorry for the confusion

    its a carp pond called deer feild lake and camp ground they havent had any tourniments in a couple yr. but they would still let you fish and i could catch 30 or 40 carp a night then but i got them educated on my bait and need somethin new to use
