    Talking Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks to all of you for the welcome and the info. I am a Carolina boy but now live in South Boston, Va. It has been about 20 years or more since fishing Falls and I know it used to be a mighty fine crappie lake. I like to jig for them and I haven't used a minnow in at least 20 years. Do many of you use jigs and if so do you have a favorite color that works for you? Tight lines to all.

Thanks to all for the welcomes. I'm a NC boy but am now living in South Boston, Va. Appreciate the invite NCCrappieGirl, it's good to see that there are women, besides the wife, who enjoy fishing too. Slabmaster2, I have to agree with you about the Jordan crappie. We have fished there many, many times. I have several questions, are there brush piles, and both species of crappie in falls, and how do you put in your own quote? Tight lines to all.

Welcome. I am fairly new myself.

There are some good holes on Upper Barton Creek. If you have a fishfinder, just troll around the shoreline. Things have changed there in the last few years.
