Them SC boys are issuing a challenge!

I don't know what or who stirred up this hornets nest:rolleyes: but somehow the sore subject of the first and only NC/SC clash (to my knowledge) got brought up and now them boys on the SC board are poking fun at us tarheels. I was there for the showdown a few years back(even got a shirt out of the deal) when we invited them up to High Rock and being the good sports we were NCNat put them boys on the best spots and they suprized us by actually catching some nice fish.:o Then we go down to Lake Wylie (which it's a geological fact theres more water from that lake in NC than SC) and fished a winter snowstorm the likes I have never seen and we NC boys couldn't get a bite. The SC team however managed some nice Wylie slabs and won that competition also.(let me state for the record that there was no polygraph on hand that night) So what do you say fellow NC members. Should we accept this challenge? I for one welcome it and am awaiting your response! :D

There is three pages of full fledged smack talk on the SC board. Even talk of a three way between NC<SC and Ga. I'm with CK.......LET'S ROCK!!!

We fish a lake in NC one weekend and then a lake in SC following that or vice -versa. The state team with the biggest bag of fish wins. There could be a tie at which point a tie breaker would be needed. Last time the SC team chea..um..checked out on us by winning both events. Some contraversy still surrounds the victory the last NC/SC clash however so now there is talk of a rematch. Smack talking and hyping it up is part of the fun, besides due to bad weather we can't fish so some of the guys like to throw a few verbal punches back and forth leading up to the event.:D

The SC board mentioned clashing with GA.....and NC mentioned VA. What if SC v GA and NC v VA and two winners clash it out for the regional bragging rights and whatever side bets they agree on? Either winner can pick whoever from the team they beat to augment their group if needed. For instance if SC beats GA and VA beats NC…then those teams can meet in the middle…like Jordan Lake or High Rock. We just want Fish Doc on the NC team since he lives in NC.

just pick our lakes and roster for both events in advance. the other teams dont stand a chance reguardless!
