    Post Beware of Thomasville

I saw on the weather this morning that the secondary streets and roads were still covered with snow and ice. When I drove my wife to work, at the hospital in Thomasville, I discovered that there wern't any clear streets over Thomasville. Even Main street and Randolf street were covered with packed snow and ice. I guess with all the fines for the sewage spills they can't afford a street crew to clear the streets.

Nat, how does things look over your way?

I came up through Tville and then on the west side of High Point for a doctors appointment. The roads are horrible...both in Tville and High Point.

Roads were definitely better in Lexington than Thomasville, & that's not saying much. Took my wife to work at the Governmental Center then hit 29-70. Some pretty bad spots there as well. May be worse tomorrow if we get that freezing rain tonight.

All roads were bad at 630, even Highway 52, this morning, they got better the farther south I got. On the way home about dark the roads were much better except for residential streets.

Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
