Dumb question on all this rain water on Wylie

Is it worth it to try to fish Wylie now?

If so what would be the best strategy in this muddy and I assume soon to be high water.

With all this rain I would expect that they are continuously trying to draw down the lake to handle all the water from up river.

BUT, I saw a post from Wednesday night, I think, that the water was low at Allison Creek ramp.

They were pulling water in anticipation of all this rain.Drain the lake down to make room for all the new water on it's way.Rango says it's good when they pulling water , but I dont know what the barometric pressure will do to them.If you try , good luck.May try myself this weekend cause thats the only chance I'll get.Eric.

Im gonna try trolling jigs just under the surface next week. according to the trollers on crappie killers site they catching fish just under the surface and thats where we caught em the other night. im not big on night fishing in muddy water but have done real good in the past trollin in the mud. soons the weather permits, im goin, even if it means i will have to come out of the darkness into daylight.. but with cooling weather the daylight aint such a bad place to be.

I was thinking of doing some trolling on Wylie Sunday.

I would guess the 1/16 jibs on 4-5 lb line would keep me up top. Maybe 1/32.

At least I can flush the engine from last weeks saltwater dontcatchmany.

Some how can not get to the night fishing much.
