I fished Honeoye last Thurs. (4/28) Water temp in the lake was around 48.5 F, if I remember correctly (I must start keeping a journal). We managed a few, but really had to roam to find them as they were quite scattered. The few we caught were in 10 - 12 FOW. Saw a couple guys get some out of 4 -5 FOW but not enough to make us fish that depth. We went to the south end and fished the inlet about noon thinking that water might be warmer and hold fish. It was slighgtly warmer - 50.5 F, but alas no fish. With the weather we have had, I don't think the lake could have warmed much, but the reports show warmer weather coming and next weekend should be different.
action should pick up after next weeks "heat wave".......hope so anyway
