Trolling is definitely an effective method to put numbers in the boat. I still prefer vertical jigging though, because I like to feel the thump & enjoy the battle on UL 10’ poles! Everyone has different preferences though...

i single pole em. love fishing brush piles and laydowns for spawn. I have several bnm rods. I still use a bucks jig pole from the 1990s 12 ft when I lived in Mississippi. works great with solo reel. I have trolled but damn the hang ups and other bass and bream I hook up.
