Hope your having a good time on your trip. Also hope the fish are cooperating. Tough weather to be fishing. Fished Honeoye yesterday 2:30 till 5:30 with my son's. Stickly pan fishing. Caught half a dozen Honeoye ( slob) bluegills. A few perch and only one keeper crappie. Released all from live well on at of day. Not enough to fillet. Plus the heat was exhausting. Oh,by the way 12 bass in 7-10 feet of water on 1/32nd & 1/16th jig heads with 2" grubs. Ultra elites and 4 # line.

We had the same trouble first 3 days on the St Lawrence but the big gils turned on Thurs/Fri with the 60 something ` mornings. No pike but we all caught at least one big largemouth and released.Fun on ultalight when fishing for gils. No Crappie at either bridge but we fought the wind almost every day. Pics to come.

Well heading down to Honeoye Friday afternoon. Have a cottage rented for the week. Spending it itch Bob my grown sons ( 37 & 35) and two grandchildren as my fishing partners. Probably bass fish from 5 am to 10 am then back to cottage for breakfast and pack a lunch for grandchildren and head back out with grandchildren, Try to locate some crappie and those Honeoye bluegill monsters for the grandchildren (7 & 4). Will make sure we have smart phones with games downloaded to keep the kids occupied Should the fishing be slow. Hopefully that won't be the case. Willpower you results. Will be interesting trying to locate crappie in the summer.
