This thread is really slow. I know the weather hasn't cooperated lately but that should be changing shortly. Hopefully it will result in more traffic on this site

I have tried a few times. I caught a few at some new spots but nothing to brag about. But on Long Island there aren't many good crappie lakes. But I have been doing good with some nice white perch and trout.

The Rest of The Story_______ Got hooked up and ready to go for the first trip of the year and all 4 new tires on the trailer but decided to go 1 size over size and got 2 miles from home and see tire smoke so i turned around and went back to the shop and spaced the 1 tire that was rubbing on the inside ---- No Problem RIGHT ???? well we get to the boat launch at Lamoka and i go to tilt the motor up and no power on that battery _____ WHAT !!!!! Now keep in mind i own a auto repair shop !!! SO Back to the shop for a quick charge on the battery and i also took my jumper pack just in case it didnt hold but the good thing was i had messed with the interior lights and left the switch on so no big problem with the Battery====After a 1 1/2 hr delay we finally got to fish and didnt catch only a few Pickeral but a Bad day of fishing beats a good day of work and LESSON Learned !!!!!!I always pull the truck and boat inside the shop and plug the charger in the nite before i fish but had charged it the week before while putting tires on so never dreamed it would be daed--THATS My Story and i'm SSSSSticking to It !!!!!

Went to Lamoka yesterday and pounded all the Gils I wanted, kept a few for Dinner. Old motor doesn't have tilt/trim and it is a pain to adjust motor on the water. The Lake is so low, they dropped the level to do another weed treatment, and a really thick mat of weeds at the mouth I won't go again. Too many other places to fish to monkey with that! I bumped bottom and wood most of the way down the channel. Should have went to Waneta side. NO CRAPPIES!
