saltwater is the big game out here.. but its not much of a challenge.. in fact there's a nuclear power plant local that warms up the water and you can catch anything from blowfish, striper, weakfish, blues, ... the list goes on.. and its literally like pulling them out of a bucket.. everyone has boats too, but being between seaside and long beach island here.. there's a lot of tourism on the boats..

i'm really not much of a follower.. i enjoy freshwater fishing much more.

Are you referring to 'Blowfish'? If so, GREAT EATING!!! Haven't caught any this year, however, several years ago while fishing at Cape Cod, Mass., I caught many! Don't know what happened to them, as I've already been fishing at Hyannis and haven't seen nor heard of anyone catching em (caught plenty of Seabass and Porgies with a 2 Blackfish aka Tautog). Weather has been so erratic, I decided to hit the Saltwater instead of the lake

As for Jersey... what part of Jersey? I've been to a lake called 'Farrington' (not to far off Rte 18 - East Brunswick). Nice crappie fishing there.
