I said to heck with it and fished Monday afternoon, I had been cooped up in the house long enough. I decided to hit Prairie Queen for the first time this year. Figured a hot day not many anglers would be outside. Think I was only there for an hour or two with a frozen bottle of water that wasn't frozen anymore when I left, but it kept it cool. So did fishing under the bridge where I caught close to 2 dozen redear sunfish in the 3 - 4" range, a few small bass and saw hundreds of little juvenile fish hugging the riprap.

I did manage to hit PQ again today after using leeches out at Wehrspann for some walleyes and catching a bunch of small catfish that looked they were about to pop. Again hooked quite a few small bass near the submerged trees near the main channel. I did hook into a decent 15" largemouth bass.
