    Default Spawning Yet

Every body of water has a tendency to be a lil different during this time of year particularly when it comes to the crappie spawn. If you're gettin em from the shallows...lets see em!

The crappie might be spawning out a little deeper since the weather has been so unstable here. EB

They’re in and out of the shallows depending on the day and weather, but for the most part I’ve witnessed a lot of fish in the shallows, depending on the lake and it’s clarity that could be as shallow as 18” or 5’.
Caught them in 24’ to 2’ this last Fri., Sat., and Sun. at Sherman. Females of course seem to be more abundant in the first deep break near the shallow water out to even 20’. The deep water fish that were active were very suspended…

I need to get out and start fishing this next week. I should have all my jobs and chores done so I can just fish. EB
