Late report -- Walnut Creek ice fishingreport
I hit Walnut Creek again on Friday late afternoon/evening -- I had about an hour of sunlight left when I got to a stopping point on my to-do list. A little breezy, and had trouble finding that 16-17 ft deep hole I fished before, so I settled in to see if I could get some bites in 14 ft of water. Still 6-7 inches of good ice and several pop-up shelters on the ice near the boat ramp and down towards the islands. I caught 14 gills and 4-5 bass, most right towards dark, and ad to quit when I couldn't see the hook to put a waxworm on it. The biggest problem I had was keeping a baited hook down the hole!
All fishing, all the time!
