Fish it on a regular basis...Crappie, Whites, and Walleye are mainly deep, can't tell yah about cats. I could write a whole page or a few sentences so I'll choose the latter unless you need a PM. Crappie can be found in mid-depths (10-15fow) in the mornings and evenings, rest of the time the majority can be found in 15-35fow depths, active fish are suspended. They're along the dam, river channel bends and breaks, submerged islands in deep water, main lake points, and around any sharp drop-offs to deep water. The problem is finding fish over 10". There is a large class of 9 1/2" fish present so you'll have to go through a bunch of shorts to find the better fish. Night fishing these same spots can produce. GL

Hit the water Saturday morning after rain cleared out. Nothing happening all day. Low of 51 last night. Water temp dropped 3.5 degrees. Didn't really see or hear of anyone having any luck. Wind came up this afternoon so we decided to head back. Cant catch em every trip. Weird weather snap didn't help either. But after sweatin it out for 6 weeks, it was nice to have a cool down. Will try it again another trip. Maybe next spring try and hit the spawn.

Agreed…weird weather for July. Makes me wish Sept. was here. Did you guys mark many fish?

Yes. I marked a lot of fish, everywhere. Checked my depth finder settings to make sure I was getting clutter. All depths. Just couldn't figure out what they where wanting. ( only had one day out there). Didn't really notice anybody else hauling them in either.
