Nevermind, local police and a barricade answered my question. Nope.
With the Missouri River flooding so close to Bellevue. I was wondering has anyone tried fishing Haworth Park when its flooded the way it is?
It just seems like such a great place for catfish, bullheads and maybe some largemouths to park themselves in the steadier currents. But i don't know if park officials would let you park your car on the levee or near it and fish the flooded campgrounds.
I was going to say- They don't let you close to the levees, especially when the water is up. EB

On a good note, fishing should be great next year in the lakes/ponds that are closed off due to flooding.
Not really you usually lose the good fish and end up with the trash fish in the lakes. The flooding just flushes the good fish out of the lake and all that is left is carp, bullheads, herring, and gar. EB

bullheads i don't mind, but the rest. Weak.
I just would think with more water, it would give them a wider area to increase population and as the waters recede the population in the lakes would be higher. Which in turn would lower limitations on the size of the catch.
Yesterday the water was up to the top of the back boards on the basketball court. Just to give you an idea of how deep the water is in Haworth Park in Bellevue. EB
