Try in the 15 ft depths. That is their prefered depths for this time of year around here. Try ledges and drop-offs and don't forget the bends in the creeks. EB

going to stay at the trading post . which arm is best to fish and baits that work early june?
If all else fails, chase the birds and fish deep. The white bass will be mashing and slashing the shad and the bigger walleye will be below the bass towards the bottom picking off the dead and cripple shad that gets by the white bass. Look for the water to start boiling and that is where the fun is. Work parallel to the direction they are moving. If you bust into the school you will scatter them and loose them. You can use a 1/4 to 3/8 oz jig with a chartruese or punkinseed curly tail. EB
