Went to see the hand specialist yesterday and he wants to operate to try and repair the nerve damage as soon a possible. The soonest I told him he could operate is September 30 after I get back from the Outer Banks, So on October 2 they are going to operate. Then 2-3 weeks of a splint of some kind and no lifting. Then 3 more weeks of light duty. As much as I hate light duty I'm going to have to work so that I don't tear out the stitches that are finer than hair. If I don't work, I'll be hunting and fishing and that ain't light duty.
