I was wondering the same thing. Gotta generator and chainsaw if anybody needs it.
Guess we got lucky around here, wasnt that bad at all.
Maybe we need to do a roll call? Man what a bad storm to hit the Jordan/Harris lake area. I do hope everyone is safe and accounted for. Our prayers go out to the victims of this storm.

My wife and I were coming back from visiting our son and his friends in Greenville today. Driving back heard about storms in our path so we hid out at a Roses store in Farmville. We ended up having to shelter in the employees lounge as a tornado came overhead. The building took some damage and about a quarter mile away the full beast must have touched down - trees and houses damaged everywhere, but still not as bad as the pictures I have seen back home now in Wake county. Will post some pics tomorrow once I can catch my breath and chill some. I do hope everyone made it through this in good shape. Thanks for inquiring.
Life jackets can be uncomfortable, but much less so than drowning.
I'm safe in my part of Raleigh--how about the rest of you guys in Wake county and down towards Sanford?
It wasn't that bad where I'm at in Alamance County, but the northern part of the county got hit pretty good. We had some hail and wind.
we had a pretty good scare but we're all doing fine.
we have a couple trees down. none hit the house or vehicles, just messed up the landscaping.
i knew we were in for it when gobs of yellow fiberglass insulation started raining down from the sky, freaking surreal sight.
God bless America
As I mentioned above, not as dramatic as some of the other scenes from Saturday, but here is the tornado coming down out of the cloud as we hid out in Roses department store in Farmville.
This is the second of these types of outbreaks I have been through (famed April 3rd tornados). I'm getting too old for this, but better than the alternative. Thankful for everyday and maybe even more so now.

We're OK... We Fished the Roanoke in the morning and called it quits at noon... good think we didn't leave whn we usually do or we woulda been right in the middle of it driveing home :S
Brians's Girlfriend had a couple pear trees fall in her yard... her neighbors house, however, did not fair too good:
I heard the tornado. It touched down about a half mile from Bass Lake. One large oak fell into Bass Lake from the lot line...happy fish, happy fisherman.
Just up the road theres a new Toyota Tacoma that had been totally smashed...the owner put a sign in the window that read "texting while tornado"
I wasn't born here, but I got here as fast as I could
Chatham Co was spared for the most part. No damage around where I am at...it was quite a day of sitting listening to the warnings though. Hope everyone is well.
