This will be one worth coming to watch the weigh in for sure. It will decide the Missouri state champions. It also will decide the national points champions. Two Truman local teams that are also all CDC members are only two points apart and in 1st and 2nd going in to the lasts event. Cox/Hockett and Rogers/Rogers. Two other teams with an outside chance at the title also. Going to get exciting. There will also be another ultimate fish off tv show being filmed on Wed. weighin at Everharts at 3pm. Rogers/Rogers vs Faulkenberry/Fernandez vs Cox/Hockett vs Vallentine/Richard Bowling. Will be some of the best in the country fighting it out all week and weekend. Better make one or both of the weigh in's to see how it turns out.

Looks like 7am until 2pm. Then weigh in at Everharts at 3pm. Fishing waters will be Jackson branch to Hay creek. I bet Hay creek and Pretty Bob will be busy that day.

Richard Bowling and Vallentine won it with 9.16. I believe Cox and Hockett had upper 8's. Charlie and Kevin Rogers had like 8.14 and Jeff Faulkenbery and Noel Fernandez had just under 8 lbs. Mostbof them caught a bunch of fish with most of them in the 1 lb range. Should be some good weights for Saturday if the weather/storms does not mess things up.

Forgot to add that Cox and Hockett had that weight fishing from a boat full of water for half the day. They knocked a fist sized hole in the back of the boat just under the drain plug area. They could only fish for about 15 minutes and water would be up to the seats. They would then get the boat moving with big motor to get the water to drain and get to next spot to fish. They repeated that all late morning and afternoon. Pretty good accomplishment to have almost 9 lbs and deal with that all day.
