    Hello:

    I know a lot of us are having tournament withdrawals. There will be a benefit tournament for the Children's Miracle Network on May 21st. Come on out for a great cause and some tournament fun.     Fishing Tournament Rules:

    Participation: Entry allows no more than two people per team. You may enter alone or with a partner. Any participating minor (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or an adult with written permission from a parent or guardian. All contestants must have a valid fishing license.

    Registration: Tournament entry form must completed and returned with $100.00 entry fee before start of tournament. Entries can be done by mail, phone, e-mail, or at registration Friday, May 20th. On-site registration will be May 20th from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Completed entries will also be accepted the morning of. Fishing hours are from 6:00am to 3:00pm, May 21st.

    Sportsmanship and Safety: All teams must obey all state boating and fishing regulations. Contestants are expected to maintain good sportsmanship and keep the waters safe. Alcoholic beverages and non-prescribed drugs are prohibited during tournament hours.

    Equipment: Eight poles are allowed per team. Teams may use rod and reel combos, hand-held pole and reel combos, or hand held poles. No fishing inside Bucksaw buoys. A safe and considerate distance (50 feet) should be maintained when trolling motors are on. Boats may fish anywhere except designated areas marked “no fishing” or “off limits”. You must fish from a boat, one boat per team.

    Checkpoint: Bucksaw Marina will be the only checkpoint. This is where you will send off before the tournament and where you will check in the afternoon. Teams must arrive to check in on time.

    Scoring: The top weight for seven fish will determine tournament standings and placement. There will also be a separate award for Top Big Fish. Prizes will be given after tournament. Teams must be present to receive prize.

    By participating in the Children’s Miracle Network/Miss Missouri Crappie Tournament I agree to the following:

    I understand that the activities involved with fishing comes the risk of injury, death, and damage of property. I also recognize that by following tournament rules will help reduce this risk. I assume responsibility for any risks that may occur during the tournament.

    I understand that I need to be able to provide a valid copy of boater’s liability insurance if asked.

    I agree to all tournament rules and regulations. If hazardous situations arise I will remove myself from the situation and notify tournament officials immediately.

    I, for myself and personal representative, agree not to sue the Children’s Miracle Network, Miss Missouri Organization, or Bucksaw Marina, and any persons, companies, agents, employees, or others on their behalf liable. The undersigned expressly agrees that this release and waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted under the laws of the State of Missouri, and if any portion is invalid, it is agreed that the remainder shall, not withstanding, continue in full force and effect.

    Thanks for posting Brian. Will see if I can make it work to fish it. Getting busy with end of school year and havin a daughter graduating. Always something going on at school.

    Just checked to see on a few things. Minnows will be allowed. Have to be back to the pavilion by 3. So will have to quit fishing in time to run back or trailer back to be there by 3pm to be in line for weigh in.
