Just keep an eye on the "Tournaments and Clubs" the Smithville tournament series will get posted there once JoeDog gets it sorted for the year.

And if we do another get-together before the thaw, it will be a title like "burgers and beer". Nothing is really organized....it just gets posted

Thanks, I'll keep checking back to see what's up. In the mean time do I need to get on a list with someone?

JoeDog kind of heads up the efforts up there. The Truman stuff is on a sticky at the top of the tournament page. Spring camp info is in the MO off topic section.

If Smithville is in your back yard there are a bunch of guys on here like that!!!!!! You shouldn't have a problem finding someone to fish with!
May all your live wells be full.

Can always drive down and fish with us in the Fruit Jars, great bunch of guys and gals and we have several teams from Ark and MO that fish with us regular. We fish 5 different lakes all of which are ranked in the top 25 crappie destinations in the country, Enid may not be in the top 25 any more but its close if not. Open series no membership required, also have a points race for those that are dedicated to fishing the full season with some pretty nice prizes and a championship tourney that you do have to qualify for but has a real nice payout. Last season we made out 157% in cash and prizes of the entry fees we took in, not bad.
Anyway, you are welcome to come check us out any time you like.

Dave is right. Great bunch of guys up that way. They even let us Truman guys come play sometimes.

That sounds interesting. Is there some information or a schedule online that shows the lakes and dates?
