Just curious how many would be interested in a new tournament trail, would stay in state the first year or two. Smaller entry fee, designed to encourage amateur fishermen. This would not be a big name tourney, just a semi small tourney for those that love to fish but do not have sponsors, time off work, etc.

The $35 entry fee is very comfortable for my partner and I. I'm sure the big dogs and the sponsored teams would love to have much higher entry fees and higher prize money. I always enjoyed the two classes of tournaments: One price for the pros and one price for the amateurs . I can speak for my partner and I, after fishing for 10 years or so in the American Crappie, North American Crappie, and Crappie Masters, we would never go through that again. We have thoroughly enjoyed the Dot Com Tournaments. and have fished everyone of them for the last 2 years. Looking forward to having the same sort of thing this year. The great thing is that no matter what your decision is, we will be fishing for crappie in Truman Lake for many years to come. In tournaments or not.
