A really good group of people in the Smithville CDC. Joe really put out for the tourney and makes it easy for people to help. If you haven't been to one of the tourneys or one of the "meetings" go to one. I'll guarantee you'll enjoy yourself. I let Joe fool around with my new H bird and now there are all kinds of pictures on it that I can't tell about here. I should have paid more attention. I had a great time, my back faded quick but I'll never miss another one if I can help it! Come on out to Fat Boyz in Kearney on June 22nd from noon to 4, enjoy yourself, meet a bunch of good people and help out a great guy!
The fishing was so good I thought it was yesterday

I heard of a one pole tourney and thought this was a one arm tourney? Those cheaters all had two arms!

Good times guys even though I was a little tired and sore today. Worth it!

Looks like it was tough fishing even for you masters! Sorry I missed hanging with you. It looks like I might not have been embarrassed by what I wouldn't have caught as a few of you appear to have had a tough day on the water. Not to worry though, it sounds like the get together afterward was well worth it!

The get together was great, food was awesome as well as the fellowship. I told my son-in-laws there would be some guys who would bring in a bunch of crappie, even under the tough conditions and I think they thought I was nuts. Then they witnessed it!!!

The best part of the day was spending time with them and telling them there was no way in the world we were going back to the ramp until I caught at least one crappie (they had each boated a monstrous 4"er before I could even hook up)!!! Let's just say it took a while, but I think I finally found three "challenged" crappie who decided to bite.....finally!!!!
I believe in catch and release.....right into the grease!!!!!

It was a great time. Thanks to everyone who helped put it on. Looking forward to the next one even if my partner is going to play golf.

Hey!! I'm giving you time to prep for the COED tournament by fishing with your daughter one extra tournament. Gotta chase the little white ball once a year....
