I am game to do the points set up and tracking. I have access to a few programs that could work and have the time I could put in. The tournament comity sounds like a good idea also.

A committee of sorts sounds like a good deal, I'd be more than happy to help out. I live about 15 minutes from Bucksaw so I am fairly close do being there early wouldn't be a problem.

I will revise the points that are above. After being questioned about rules I checked through everything again and seen that I have gave teams 25 points that did not weigh in fish. This series has gotten big enough that Lenny and I can not keep track of everything by ourselves. I had told some guys Friday on the phone that they had to be back to Bucksaw by 2 pm. We had one that was back but was not in line which I now see is in the rules from the start of the year. We try to make this a fun and friendly tournament but we have got to big for that I guess. Any time money is involved things get a little more serious. Another thing that will be changed is that I will need a valid crappie.com name for at least one member of each team. No more taking people's word for it. This is the first time I know of in 4 years of these that we have had any problems like this. Next year there will be some more people involved to try and keep things straight. We need to try and have a Sunday lunch somewhere for anyone that is wanting to help out with these next year or wants to be there to make suggestions. Maybe we can meet at Bucksaw for lunch and sit down and talk through what needs to happen to keep these going and to continue growing them.

Agreed that these tourneys should be more for fun than busting each other's humps about every rule. The person that was haggled about being in line by 2, I'm pretty sure he was at Bucksaw under the pavilion way before 2 he just waited till the line had dwindled down to go get his fish. It's not like he was out fishing. Being a crappie.com member is kinda what the tournaments are all about, and lending help and advice to others, but I understand how keeping track of everybody and whether they are member isn't easy and you should be able take someone's word for it. Funny how some people can get bent out of shape and lie over a few dollars. I guess rules are rules and if there's gonna be a lil feud then maybe stricter enforcement of the rules should be done. Putting on these tournaments is a lot of work for you guys that some people may not see and you don't get the thanks that you deserve. Let me know if you need any help Jared.
