Other wise I will have to go through each team and find out their however many tournaments finishes to figure the points. We had close to 50 different teams fish last year so that would get difficult. It will be fun however we decide to do it. We had a pretty good number of teams fish all of them last year. We averaged 19 teams last year. Hope to see some good turnouts again this year.
oh come on jared! just quit your job and get r dun!:p live off crappie and deer, we need 110% bud, lol... just funning,,, point's race would keep it interesting through out the year, heck let's get a feb tourny in there if it aint frozen

We could always add a plaque for best co-ed team.
Would everyone rather pay a separate fee to be in the points race or add a little to the entry to cover the cost of end of year awards/plaques? Will not make a huge difference as far as keeping track of points. I need to go check for pricing on plaques and decide how many we will need to figure out entry amount we need to add. Was thinking big fish plaques, coed plaque and then however many we want for 1st 2nd 3rd or however deep we want to go with them. Maybe also one for largest weight of the year. Thoughts???

However you want to do it Jared.I would think just adding alitlle to entry fees would be the easiest though. Then Plaques for Big fish, Coed, and 1st through 3rd and largest year end weight.jmo though i am good with however you see fit to do it.Maybe so much per tourny with some going towards plaques and some going into the kitty for cookouts and then folks can bring side dishes?
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

However you wanna do it Jared, Im in! The points race sounds fun. You could make it a year long race and if a person misses a tournament they get 0 points! Might make for more consistant turnouts! Im not a fan of Spider rigging, but might be cause i have never done it! From what i heard it really only good before spawn, so it should all even out! Co-ed plaques would be nice! It would look good hanging on my wall!!!

Thoughts on two divsions? Had a PM about maybe having two divisions. One for anything goes such as spider rigging and minnows and another for a One Pole artificial only. Thoughts????

Its admirable Jared that you try to please as many as possible and get feedback but sooner or later it comes down to throw your money in and lets fish. Personally I think it detracts from the competition and from the sense of accomplishment to only fish against part of the field but whatever you decide will be fine with most of us.

All for one and one for all. Too many choices Jared. Just my 2 cents.

Ok we will keep it simple. Much easier in us that way also. May has been confusing for us and everyone else trying to keep track of two divisions.
