You did everyone a huge favor. Thats a smart call. A south wind at 40mph starts at Muttom and goes all the way to the dam which makes the main lake look like you owe it money.
Saturdays wind forecast is calling for 40 MPH wind gusts and for everyone's safety the club has decided to cancel. The next scheduled date is Dec. 5th and we will get a post up this weekend on it.
Thank you,
Tom

Fish like your hungry!
Well that sucks! But it is very smart to call it off, winds that bad can really cause some problems. Could have a bank fishing tournament. lol
I really wanted to fish it, but just not worth getting someone hurt or worse. More than one person has lost their life on Stockton in the wind with as rough as that water can get.

Very good decision Polebender. It can get rough and dangerous with 10-15 mph wind. I could not imagine getting out in 40mph winds down there. I put the cover back on my boat this morning after seeing the forcast the next few days and I have been fishing up a creek. Still would not try it. So good call. There will be plenty of other chances to get out and hold the tournaments.
JR and I were out on the bank at Crabtree watching some awful big swells on the main channel. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Little Skeeter, I doubt we'd have fun fishing from the bank!! I'll have my new locator by Dec. 5, looking forward to breaking it in. Just giving you guys fair warning!
We could go surfing. Do you all think they have a wet suit in my size?
craig
Yea no way fishing in that kind of wind is going to be fun no matter what your in or on. I was kidding about the bank fishing guys! I think wind surfing would be perfect for tomorrow though, hahahaha,
