Bad Idea....

I am reading the comments and do appreciate all the feedback. The new format has not even been in place a week yet. Please give it a little more time before you pass final judgement. I never said it had to stay this way. I'm just trying, emphasis on trying, to do what's best for the site. I'm tied up all next week so minimally there will be no changes till afterwords, if there are any more changes that is.

Tell you what, in about a week I'll start a new thread and see how you all feel then. Let's give it that week, deal?

Hang in there you all. In the end we'll have the best darn crappie site on the net.

I am on here everyday reading the post. I don't post like I should but have found this a place to find good information. I can say that the new layout has really turned me away. I don't like how everything is all broken up. I live where I can fish LOZ and Truman easily, but there is more to it then that. I like the feel of people with a common passion getting together in the same place to share information, stories, or just poke fun a little. I believe that this is a place that has great potential to be more then what it is and that we are the stewards of what it can grow to be. With all the great knowledge that is available here from the members we could put together some of the best Crappie fishing information in the country. I just don't like the feel of the line in the sand being drawn. Here is my suggestion of what may work.

1 CDC tournament schedule and times, other MO tournaments and times, and MO Crappie clubs
"Have this as place for all tournaments, the times, the place, the rules, who's signed up, and any crappie clubs"
2 General crappie fishing
"All Crappie talk, What you have to say about them, how you find them, any lake, stream or pond"
3 MO Truman lake Area
"Whats going on only at Truman Lake"
4 MO Lake of the Ozark area
"Whats only going on at LOZ"
5 Missouri off topic
" If its going on in Mo put it here"

I don't think that'd be any better than what we have already, 'cept that it breaks out tournament info from Truman's section. But the "All other lakes" is gone, then. So where do I put my reports? Under the General Crappie Fishing? If so, then what difference does it make?

Change it back or leave it the way it is (preferably the former, but I'm getting used to this other way)...but don't make it even more complicated. That's my 2¢

I didn't do a good job making it all clear with my post I liked the way it was but if there has to be a divide maybe there is a better way to label it. maybe smooth it all over some. I like to see what everyone has to say and how there fishing. It helps me when I am out trying to look like I am fishing.
