    Default Experience Over The Years

Been Sitting Here Since Jan. Trying To Put A Number On The Number Of Crappie I Have Caught And Cleaned And "given" Away During My Time. Starting Fishing On Truman In 1980.....(not Counting Before It Opened)... My Very Best Guestimate Is In The 22,000 To 23,000 Range, While That May Seem High To You Or Low..... Let Me Tell U Cleaning Them That Is A Lot.....we As In Brother N Laws And Myself Fish Every Fall From Oct 1st Till She Freezes Over And We Take About 600 To A 1000 Every Fall There In One Spot (lets Say 3 Acres). Now That Is 3 Of Us And We Give A He77va Lot Away.... We Also Have The Old Big Cedar At Berry Bend That Has Yielded In The 1,000's, Not Counting All The Grand And Osage Fishing We Have Done During The Spawn And Summer Patters...... I Am Just Trying To Get A Handle On Just How Much Fishing I Have Done....... All I Can Say Is "a Lot" So I Don't Mind Sharing What Little I Know With Anyone, Oh Yes And The "nojoes" Are In The Thousands Also.... Hey If U Don't Care Don't Read..... Gotta Key Board Got Put Somet'n On......

I Talked To My Retired Neighbor Yesterday And He Told Me That He Had Counted All The Crappie He Had Caught A Couple Of Years Ago On Truman. And He Said That He And His Wife Had Caught & Cleaned Over 1100. This Is The Nice Old Guy Who Is Always In My Driveway When I Get Back From A Fishing Trip When I Don't Do Very Well. And He Is Never Around When I Come In With A Full Livewell. Lol I Couldn't Find Him Anywhere Saturday Evening!

Never kept track of my fish, but my senior year of highschool, I had two of the best beagle dogs in Cape Girardeau County. I'd hunt every day after school that I didn't have to work and every weekend. That fall and winter I recorded 110 squirrels and 164 rabbits. We ate alot of wild game back then.

All I Know Is What He Told Me. I Thought That The Number Was A Little High Myself. But Figuring It Was Him And His Wife, And Wasn't The Daily Limit At One Time 30 Crappie?

Oh And Oss At Least I Have A Current License To Bs! Got It Renewed The Other Day. It Says That I Am A Col! And I Am Allowed To Conduct Auctions Anywhere In The Great State Of Missouri!

So What Do You U Want To Give For Them?

I TOLD THE WIFE THE OTHER NIGHT AS I WAS CLEANING FISH WITH A ELECTRIC KNIFE. I DON'T KNOW HOW I USED TO CLEAN ALL THE FISH I USED TO CATCH WITH JUST A PLAIN KNIFE!
