    Default Round Two for Speck

As some of you know, I fell off a ladder the day before Thanksgiving and shattered my right heel. They did surgery Thanksgiving morning and put in a couple of plates and three pins. I came back yesterday so they could remove the hardware and clean the wound. The surgeon seemed optimistic so he scheduled me for another surgery Friday to possibly repair the other side of my heel that has been too swollen to work on yet. Fingers crossed I will get released Saturday or Sunday so I’m home for Christmas. Hope to be back in fishing shape for Truman camp in May.
Through all of this, I realize how truly blessed I am for not being injured worse than I was and how many amazing friends who have gone above and beyond for me. That being said, I want to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas!!Name: IMG_3398.jpg

Putting up Christmas lights? Hope not. We've had several friends hurt bad putting up lights. Each year when I'm doing ours I always say "Next year I'll pay someone to do this."

Well Maybe Next Year!?!? I know in the long run much cheaper than what you're going thru!

Good luck on the mend and see ya this Spring!

As bad as yours was, thank God it wasn't worse. Our neighborhood lost a member a few months back. He fell from a ladder and hit his head. Praying for your quick recovery.
