Default I need to scratch the itch!

It has been WAY TOO long since I've had my boat out. Well if you consider a couple of months long. LoL I don't suppose anyone has any tips for hot spots up near Brushy or Clear Creek? I might even launch out of Bucksaw and see if I can find some in a few coves I've fished out that way. Are they pushing up in the shallow water or hovering deep?

My boat has spider webs everywhere! Last night I removed the Bimini and ski pole. Got the long rods loaded up and fishing seats back it.
Even if I had time it’s been too windy

I heard they are starting to move into the coves, still a bit deep. But since the cold snap is long over I wouldn’t trust my intel.

Got out in a new to me Hobie PA 14 and pedaled around the upper Tebo and Barker creeks Sunday. I marked a bunch right off the ramp (from C hwy) and in other 9-10ft pools.

Thank you Jake! I should have just texted you. I look at my boat and cry! There is a lot of money just collecting dust. Soon, VERY soon!

I did Kayaks before Kayaks were cool. LoL I had a 13' fishing yak and loved it until I couldn't walk it down to the shore and put it back in the truck. That's about the time I fished with you the first time.

I remember you just had surgery.
The PA14 is too big not to trailer. So far I'm happy with the trailer.
I'm surprised you don't have a pedal yak with your bicycle background.

Anthony tried the bike but he couldn't hardly breath in water over a few feet deep!

I finally got the boat out. It was less than ideal conditions, but my co-angler was insistent that we go out and not let the cold and wind hold us back. We left out of Windsor Crossing and found cover from the wind by going right and then left. We put one keeper in the boat and 20 dinks. I saw a lot of schools moving, but most of them were dinks. When the clouds moved out and the sun peeked through, it was not bad. As soon as you broke cover and clouds blocked the sun, you could feel the chill. No pictures to show, but we both had a good relaxing couple of hours on the lake.
