    Default Boat opinions

I'm currently fishing out of a 95 Nitro 190 DC. It's a decent boat with lots of years and miles on it. I'm looking to upgrade to a Lowe Stinger 195. I'm wondering if anyone here has any input on the Lowe Stinger. Is the front deck wide enough to spider rig, does the boat handle well, are there any CONs you can think of. I found one in the price range I like and would love some input from current owners near me. Most of the use would be on Truman around Bucksaw, Clinton, Windsor Crossing, and Long Shoal.

I have owned three different Lowe boats and had good experiences with all of them. Currently we own a 2019 Lowe 195c Stinger with 115 hp Merc. If you are talking about this model it is definitely big enough up front to spider rig. Before I bought this rig I considered an aluminum ranger and the Lowe is about eight inches wider where the seats are up front and we wanted the room on the front deck, not for rigging but for two people to Live scope. IMHO the downside of the Lowe rigs are the trailers as they dont trailer as easy as some other boats. If you have any other questions let me Know and I will PM you my phone number and feel free to give me a call.

I decided I wasn't gaining much in width to justify this boat. The Tracker Pro Team 190 seems like a better upgrade. Finding one for the right price or a new one on hand... whole different story!

Sadly you can buy a brand new one with zero hours for less than you can get a 1-3 year old one. You can even get the 115hp 4 stroke and most of the ones I'm finding have a 90 or less HP.

I have found the same thing here. Decided to stay in the smaller boat I had downsized to. The 4 stroke 60 sips fuel so that is a plus. I will look again when the market gets a little more stable

With the way things are going that's gonna be a awhile. My boat is 6 years old and I can sell it for 2K more than what I bought it at. That's just stupid

I found found something as close as I wanted. The only thing was 115hp vs 150hp. Got it networked, the graphs on and the Ulterra. Took it out today after 19 hours of working on it.
